Sound Philanthropy guides clients through the key stages of philanthropic planning to help them create a lasting, value-based giving platform. Sound Philanthropy services are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, including families, firms, and individuals with all ranges of charitable budgets. From streamlining systems, to researching non-profits, to facilitating family meetings, Sound Philanthropy manages it all.
Sarah Hopper works with clients on a monthly retainer or on a project basis, depending on their philanthropic goals. She involves clients to the degree that works best for them and their busy lives, and celebrates the individuality of each family, and each family member.

For each client, Sound Philanthropy will develop and implement a tailored plan. Regardless of the scope of work, all services are designed to:
  • Clarify philanthropic goals and focus areas to align giving to core values
  • Guide clients toward an intentional and informed process
  • Develop a plan and purpose that can be implemented according to each client's schedule, style and comfort zone
After an initial consultation, Sarah Hopper will recommend a scope of work that may include face-to-face meetings, interviews, research, retreats, activities, site visits and timelines.
